Tricky spots at Raheny
The roads around Raheny are typical mature Dublin suburbs. Tree-lined residential streets, the busy Howth Road, and some narrow sections near the coast. Expect DART level crossings, school zones, and the usual mix of parked cars narrowing the road.
Heavy traffic in both directions. Lane discipline matters, especially near bus stops and the DART bridge.
Narrow main street with parallel parking on both sides. Meeting oncoming traffic while staying in lane is the challenge.
Single lane effective width. You need to judge priority correctly when meeting oncoming traffic.
Give way lines at T-junctions with poor sightlines from parked cars. Take your time.
