Who we are

This website, rsaschoolofmotoring.ie, is operated by ADI Motoring Ltd, trading as RSA School of Motoring. We are registered in Ireland under company number 547846. Our registered office is at Digital Office Centre, Balheary Road, Swords, Co. Dublin, K67E5A0.

When we say "we", "us", or "our" in this policy, we mean ADI Motoring Ltd.

What we collect

We collect the following types of personal data:

• Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number when you enquire about lessons or make a booking.
• Payment information: card details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
• Booking details: your preferred area, lesson type, transmission preference, and any messages you send us through our contact form.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited. This is collected automatically when you use our website.

Why we collect it

We use your data for these purposes:

• Fulfilling bookings: to match you with an instructor, schedule lessons, and process payments.
• Improving our service: to understand how people use our site and where we can do better.
• Marketing: only with your consent. We may send you lesson reminders, tips, or offers. You can opt out at any time.
• Legal compliance: to meet our obligations under Irish and EU law, including tax and accounting requirements.

How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected. Booking records are kept for 7 years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Contact form enquiries are deleted after 12 months if no booking is made. Technical logs are cleared after 90 days.

When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

Who we share it with

We share your data with:

• Driving instructors: your name, phone number, and area so they can schedule and conduct your lessons.
• Payment processors: Stripe handles all card payments. They have their own privacy policy.
• Hosting and email providers: Cloudflare (hosting), and our email service for sending booking confirmations.
• Legal authorities: if required by law, court order, or regulatory request.

We do not sell your data to anyone. We never have, and we never will.

International transfers

Some of our service providers operate outside the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we make sure it gets equivalent protection. This is done through standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, or by using providers certified under recognised data protection frameworks.

Your rights under GDPR

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: ask us to fix any data that is wrong or incomplete.
• Deletion: ask us to delete your data where there is no ongoing reason to keep it.
• Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.

• Object: object to our processing of your data for marketing purposes.
