Driving lessons in Dublin: FAQ
A single lesson costs €53.27. A 6-pack is €315.01 (€52.50 per lesson) and the full 12-lesson EDT bundle is €587.95 (€49.00 per lesson). All prices include pickup, the car, and digital logbook updates. No hidden fees.
You need a minimum of 12 EDT lessons by law. Most learners take between 15 and 25 lessons total before they are test-ready. It depends on how often you practise between sessions and how quickly you build confidence on Dublin roads.
We cover all of Dublin, from Fingal in the north to Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown in the south, and from Dublin 22 in the west to Dublin 5 on the northside coast. Each instructor is based full-time in their district.
EDT (Essential Driver Training) is a mandatory 12-lesson course set by the RSA. Every first-time learner permit holder in Ireland must complete it before sitting the driving test. If you hold a recognised foreign licence, you may only need 6 lessons. Read our full EDT guide.
