Corduff is a residential estate in the heart of Dublin 15, close to Blanchardstown Shopping Centre and the N3. That location means your lessons cover a good range of road types. Corduff Road itself winds through the estate with speed bumps, tight bends, and parked cars making it a decent training ground for low-speed car control. Step onto Blanchardstown Road and the pace picks up. Traffic flows between Blanchardstown village and the shopping centre, with buses, delivery vans, and shoppers all day long. Snugborough Road is the big step up. It is dual carriageway with lane changes, traffic lights, and a roundabout that feeds the N3 junction. Your instructor will use the Corduff estate for clutch control, turns, and parking in your early lessons. From there, you move to Blanchardstown Road and then Snugborough Road for speed management and lane discipline. Mulhuddart Test Centre is nearby and the test routes include the Snugborough Road section. You will have driven it dozens of times before your test.

L1-2: Controls and Positioning
Waterville Road and the quieter parts of the Corduff estate are where lessons one and two take place. Speed ramps, tight parking, and a few gentle bends give you the repetitions you need on clutch control and basic road positioning.
Learn about EDTL3-4: Direction Changes and Speed
Corduff Road introduces proper direction changes with parked cars affecting your road position. You practise turning right and left into estate exits, managing speed over the ramps, and using signals correctly at every move.
EDT detailsL5-6: Complex Positioning and Hazards
Blanchardstown Road North is where lessons five and six move to. Delivery vans stopping, shoppers crossing, and buses pulling in create a steady stream of hazards. You learn to anticipate and position well before each situation develops.
Test preparationL7-8: Sharing the Road and Traffic
Hartstown Road introduces school-time traffic. Parked cars at the school gates and pedestrians crossing mid-road are the main hazards here. Lesson eight shifts to Snugborough Road to start building roundabout reading and lane choice.

Full mock test runs go from Corduff out through Snugborough Road and to Mulhuddart Test Centre on the Old Navan Road. Night driving uses Waterville Road and Corduff Road where the lighting is reasonable and traffic is light in the evenings.

Corduff Road runs through the heart of the estate with speed ramps at regular intervals and cars parked tight on both sides. For early lessons, this is ideal. There is enough going on to keep you focused but the speed stays low and the pressure stays manageable. Waterville Road nearby is similar, a bit quieter again when you are just getting started.
Once your basics are in place, Blanchardstown Road North introduces proper through-traffic. Buses, delivery vehicles, and retail traffic from the shopping centre flow all day. You learn to read junctions early and plan your moves with time to spare.
Snugborough Road is the biggest step. It runs from Castleknock through to Blanchardstown with roundabouts and traffic lights at the key junctions. Getting lane choice right on the roundabouts takes practice, and Hartstown Road adds school traffic to the mix during term time.
We pick you up at Corduff Shopping Centre car park, Corduff Sports Centre, or the bus stop on Snugborough Road. Female instructors are available. Mulhuddart Test Centre is five minutes away on the Old Navan Road.
Manual EDT is €587.95 for all 12 lessons. Single Manual lessons are €53.27. The pretest, including car hire, is €183.63 for manual or €193.81 for automatic.
